SEA Wire and Cable is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations supporting our Boeing distribution contract in Mesa, Arizona. This position serves as the primary point of contact for inventory control, quality compliance, receiving inspection, RMAs, and warehouse process execution. The Warehouse Lead will ensure materials are received, inspected, stored, controlled, and delivered in accordance with SEA Wire & Cable and Boeing requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Material Management
- Serve as the primary inventory control focal point for both SEA-owned and Boeing-owned material.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory integrity.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate quarterly inventory audits with Boeing representatives.
- Lead annual and quarterly physical inventory counts and cycle count activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
- Act as the primary quality representative within the Mesa distribution operation.
- Conduct receiving inspections and verify material compliance with Boeing specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate the identification, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming material.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse quality procedures and customer requirements.
- Audit and monitor adherence to receiving, shipping, delivery, and inventory SOPs.
- Manage inbound and outbound Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
- Coordinate disposition activities with suppliers, SEA personnel, and Boeing stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and traceability for returned material.
- Serve as the primary focal point for cage-managed material.
- Prepare and submit Material Test Reports (MTRs) and other required documentation for Boeing laboratory review and approval.
- Interface directly with Boeing personnel regarding inventory, quality, and material issues.
- Support customer audits and special projects as required.
- Provide daily direction and guidance to warehouse associates.
- Assist with training and cross-training initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- 3–5+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or distribution experience.
- Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of quality processes and material traceability.
- Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or military programs preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP, inventory management, and Microsoft Office systems.
