Job Summary
Oversees and coordinates the operations of the Quality department. Performs daily functions associated with the overall Quality Department.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Performs all duties of Quality Specialist and Associate
- Trains and oversees the Training of Quality Specialist and Associate
- Assist Quality Manager when necessary
- Coordinate Communications between departments
- Coordinate Quality initiatives throughout the company
- Direct the investigation and resolve quality issues throughout the company
- Continuous improvement projects
- Reports progress on issues to management
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Suppliers and customers
- Responsible for managing internal and external audits
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelors degree
- 8 yrs. min Quality experience
- Experienced in relationship building
- Organized and accurate
- Capable of performing at a world class level
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers/suppliers
- Proficient computer software skills (Microsoft products)
- ASQ Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
